The subject says it all.It would be great, when having clicked any individual wee green tree, to be able to zoom (with my mouse wheel for example) and pan the genomap instead of using the green arrows. This process could be made similar/identical to the Autocad one , for example and for ref. Thank you

There are alternative ways of zooming and panning:Zoom: To zoom in, hold down the <Ctrl> button and laft mouse click; to zoom out, hold down the <Shift> and <Ctrl> buttons and left mouse click. Pan: Hold down the <Alt> button and the left mouse button and use the mouse to pan the SVG picture in any direction. This may help you as regards panning, but doesn't achieve your zooming needs. However, I notice that holding down the <Shift> button and using the scroll wheel whilst in the SVG picture returns the pane above the SVG picture to the index.

Using the Ctrl Alt & Shift keys whilst moving the mouse are zoom/pan controls that are specific to the Adobe SVG plugin, and do not work with Firefox with its built SVG rendering engine. The green arrows and the zoom buttons were added to provide a common mechanism for panning and zooming. I hope to add panning using mouse drag in a later release. Unfortunately SVG doesn't support mouse wheel events at present and so it cannot be used for zooming. I tried holding down Shift key and then using the mouse wheel. This appears to act simply as a browser 'Back' and 'Forward' control.

To Ron: I found on this site: the firefox zoom and pan extension a plug-in "zoomAndPan.xpi" for FF. I installed it and after loading one of my genomap (not the compiled one) the mouse wheel effectively zoomed in and out. The panning was also OK. So I think it's worthwhile to investigate the code to possibly add it within Genopro. The question is: is it possible to create a similar plug-in for IE7? Up to you and good luck. JC
