This seems to be some kind of Unicode problem with displaying "Undo Someone Properties" command in the Edit menu section. Russian (cyrillic) names don't show up properly.I'm using Beta 16c and current charset in control panel is "Cyrillic (Windows) (code page 1251)" as GenoPro tells me.

Is is possible the selected font to draw the menus does not have the Cyrillic alphabet.

Here I post 2 screenshots.The first is to show the bug in the Undo menu. In the bottom-right corner is the individual I've edited before taking the screenshot. The second is to show that in other menus the cyrillic chars show up correctly, namely the cyrillic name of the Genomap. Also cyr symbols show up correctly in the recent files menu.

I verify this and have new addition!It's not just cyrillic font matter but unicode in total, no unicode character is shown correctly! I've seen it on following CE characters ŠĐČĆŽ šđčćž ...

I noticed the same problem once I edited an htm file (French page with accents) with Frontpage.After the editing session, I closed Frontpage, loaded the htm page and it was full of these characters. I also noticed that after editing a second time the said htm file, these "weird" characters actually multiplied !

I noticed the same problem once I edited an htm file (French page with accents) with Frontpage. After the editing session, I closed Frontpage, loaded the htm page and it was full of these characters. I also noticed that after editing a second time the said htm file, these "weird" characters actually multiplied ! Have you tried to create and edit any other page with those characters... This sounds to me like Frontpage stuff, not GP's!

The problem is with GenoPro. I am working on a fix.

Beta 17b is now available. Let me know if you still get garbage text in the Undo menu.

I've downloaded the 17b beta. The bug is fixed. Unicode now displays properly.
