| I am very pleased that this Beta came out, as it is one which I have been looking forward to the most. Here are my comments. 1. The actual display size of the properties is a bit too small for its fields. That is, the bottom of the lowest field does not appear. Likewise, when originally opening up the properties, the top tabs do not all appear. 2. Under "Place of Birth," as well as under "Place of Ceremony" amongst the places also appear dates for some reason. 3. Under "Source," <NoName> appears many times. Perhaps something that can be eliminated? 4. The contact tab should be split, in my opinion into two tabs: a) Occupancy and b) Contact information

I second the duplication/adding of the birth/death date to the respective tabs. It somehow doesn't feel right to see where a person was born but not to get at first glance when.
Since I don't want to open a new thread for this and it's b18-related, I wonder is there a way to pick the job that is displayed in the general tab? I think it should be the one that defined the person, the profession they did most of their life. Would it be possible to have a box to check labled "Set as Primary Occupation"?
As for , I have that too, since the last beta actually. I think I 'caught' it when I imported GEDCOM files from an internet database. Maybe it's an issue regarding sources missing a tag, hence not being named properly?

| In the contact table, neither right-click > Property nor pressing enter opens the desired dialog. Is that intentional?

| Going back to the original request of this topic. Please see the attached pictures. The first shows "<noname>" appearing many times. How can this be eliminated?
The second shows dates as part of the list of "Place of birth." When I press Cntrl-K, these dates do not appear in the list.

| Number 1: Have you given a name to the sources (Birth Sorce 1, Death Source 1, etc.?), And Second, the part of dates in places, this has never occured to me before.

rdn (9/9/2006) Going back to the original request of this topic. Please see the attached pictures. The first shows "<noname>" appearing many times. How can this be eliminated ? I noticed this as well with gedcom files sent to me which were made with other software. Appart from phantom marriages and double links I found masses of "<noname>" for sources of birth, marriage and death entries and also for photos, and to remove them without having as many repetitions of a contributor's name, I clicked on the source opened the tabs of that person and put in the contributor's name once. I then went to all other sources for this person and scrolled down to this new contributor's name and entered it into the source. The source table when highlighted shows all the names associated with the source. When there are no more names associated I deleted the source and the "<noname>" have gone. It's a laborious process, but the alternative is to delete the "<noname>" sources in the table if you don't need to add a contributor's name. This doesn't appear to remove the notes and comments, just their source.
