In recent reports there is a prominent notice, in bold type, referring to Custom Tags. In one I have this note:-
o A custom tag is a generic placeholder to record additional information. You can customize those tags by using the Tag Editor from the Tools menu. + DisplayDates 1910 - 1987

I can not see why the notice is repeated and in addition I would like to set this as suppressed by default. In fact I suspect I would rather be able to turn the notice off completely

| As ever I should check before posting. The double notice is because I had two copies of DisplayDates in the file, which did not appear to be present when looking at the table. Using the tag editor reduced this problem to one - but it still does not look good in the report. It is more of a notice of value to the creator of the report, not to a reader

| The Narrative Report shows all Custom Tags by default. A custom tag is a generic placeholder to record additional information. You can customize those tags by using the Tag Editor from the Tools menu.
The above text is GenoPro's default Custom Tag Layout Description. If you have your own Custom Tags it is a good idea to change this default description to something more meaningful, i.e. a description of your tags, using GenoPro Tools/Tag Editor.
To suppress Custom Tags in a particular Dialog Layout, change the description to have a leading underscore _
Custom Tag layouts can get duplicated when copy & pasting from one .gno file to another. If both layouts contain the same Tags then delete the duplicated Tag Layout, again using the Tag Editor.
