The
Contact
tab date
information
includes Start Date & End Date, which is fine for recent contacts.
In
family history
you normally have point data, eg from census or parish registers. If you put this into Start Date the
report
will contain information such as
'He lived in Goldsmith Row from 1835'
This is not strictly correct as he could have been there the previous
year
. What is needed, where there is no End Date is
'He lived in Goldsmith Row in 1835'
At present you can get that sort of statement by leaving both Date fields blank and use the comment field to give the date information.
Any suggestions on where to change a skin where only one Date is known?
