I noticed v.2.5.2.3 (and now v.2.5.2.5) can not use language pack installed in directory Lang from disk.
If load language pack from server - ok. But this two .xml files are identical.
Reason - date of language pack from disk is more early than date of the  new program (or date of language pack on server).
After change the date language pack  - no problems.

This change or bug?

No changes were made in the report generator or in the XML reader.  Can you post and/or send me the .xml file by email and I will take a look at it.

This is not Report generator.
This is Language pack for translation GenoPro.
For example:
GenoPro v.2.5.2.5 installed 27.10.10.
Zip FR 28.10 - French Language pack from GenoPro v.2.5.2.5
(only one french word 'Fichier' in menu 'Fichier' is replaced on english 'File'),
Date of the change - 28.10.10.
Zip FR 25.10 - same file, but date of the change is replaced on - 25.10.10.
two absolutely IDENTICAL files (checked WinMerge),
but GenoPro v.2.5.2.5 can not use file modified 25.10.10., and can use same file modified 28.10.10.

FR 25.10.zip (254 views, 49.03 KB)
FR 28.10.zip (255 views, 49.03 KB)

I am not sure to understand.  I downloaded and installed both files in the "Lang" folder and they work as expected (again, I may be missing something).  Simply rename the file FR.xml to "MyFR.xml" and pick the language "MyFR" in the Language menu.  Let me know how it goes.

"...Simply rename the file FR.xml to "MyFR.xml"...
Yes, it works, but "renaming" was not necessary for old versions. And in this instance date of file MyFR.xml in the "Lang" folder  changes automatically after pick the language "MyFR" in the Language menu.

I installed in the same directory each new version of GenoProGamma. "Lang" folder does not delete.
Each new version uses my old Language pack (RU.xml) in the "Lang" folder.
But now it does not work (it seems after v.2.5.2.3).
This is an example (v.2.5.2.5 is installed 27.10.10):
- Install file FR.xml created 28.10.10 in the "Lang" folder. Yes, it works as expected.
- Delete this file from "Lang" folder.
- Install identical FR.xml file, but created 25.10.10 (!), in the "Lang" folder. Program does not use this file.

I fixed a bug where GenoPro would always save to disk the .XML file of a custom language pack, regardless if the language pack was modified.  The fix will be available for download in the next update.  Maybe this will help resolving the issue.

I do not see that has changed now.
The program still does not use a language pack with a name 'Language Code' (RU.xml, FR.xml etc.) in Lang folder if date of file earlier than an installation date of the new version.
The program can use only the renamed file (for instance - myRU.xml), or a file with the changed date.
And I do not speak that it is 'bad'. Probably it even is better.
But in the previous versions the program could use an old file with name RU.xml without any variations...

I can manually merge the XML files on the server, and you can therefore download an update and be in sync with the server.  Feel free to post the XML files you wan me to update and I will manually update them on the server.

There is no need now 'to manually update the XML files in the server'.
I have a last version of language pack loaded last month.
Now I did not change this file.
Thank you.
