I agree with you.  The pet should also have a gender.  This is an old legacy from GenoPro 1.00 written back in 1997.  Next major file format will remove this limitation (as the new file format will also break forward compatibility).

Hi,

Justwondering if you are going to be developing/updating the information availablefor pets. As of now all pets are triangles, regardless of species or gender. Ithink it would be a great addition to be able to differentiate between speciesand gender (either with new symbols or colours) as pets are integral part ofmany people’s families in today's societies. This would help our research, as Iam currently working on a project that is tracking relationships between peopleand their pets. I will be checking the forum but I would really appreciate itif someone could contact me to further discuss this issue.
