Between 1.91 and 1.99?

Except the licensing part...

GenoPro Version 1.99:
1. Updated the Report Generator dialog to inform the user about the new report generator before creating a new skin. That was the main purpose of v1.99.
2. Allow to copy & paste the graphical tree to another application such as Word or PowerPoint.
3. Fixed display problem where the tree would appear one pixel off its correct position. This would lead to jerky moves when using the zoom.
4. Option in the Preferences to reverse the mouse wheel (to zoom in instead of zoom out).
5. Allow borderless printing.

GenoPro Version 1.99b:
1. Being Beta Aware.  GenoPro 1.99b can detect a .gno file written by GenoPro Beta and displays to the user a more meaningful message than the generic error "Unable to read from storage".  For instance, GenoPro 1.99b will tell the user which specific version of GenoPro is needed to open any .gno file.  This will work for future vesions too, including v2.0, 3.0 and so on.  That was the main purpose of version 1.99b.
2. Fixed the problem where double-clicking on an object could display the wrong properties.
3. Academic Evaluation Key for Students and Professors.

GenoPro Version 1.99c:
1. Proxy Awareness - Useful if your internet connection uses a proxy server requiring a password.

How does one upgrade from v1.91 to v1.99 ?

When I check for upgrades with my Genopro Gold v1.91, I receive a message that I already have the latest version.

When I check for upgrades with my Genopro Gold v1.91, I receive a message that I already have the latest version.

This is correct.  Version 1.99 is not yet included in the automatic update because it requires a registration key.  I feel people using version 1.91b will prefer to keep the free version 1.91b instead of upgrading to v1.99 and have to purchase it later.  The second reason is to give a test period to v1.99 before announcing the upgrade to thousand of users.  Version 1.99 has minor changes, nevertheless I learned from experience to always give a few weeks of testing before announcing a new product, especially there are thousand of customers involved.

My recommendation, of course, is to give a try to GenoPro Beta at http://www.genopro.com/beta/.  You will find the Beta much more exciting to use than version 1.99.  I am sure many users on this forum will agree with me.
