I think I have found a bug in the HTML code generated by the report generator.

If there are some family pictures (e.g. 7 pictures), the browser displays only two pictures from the individual page, and after that you get an Error at the bottom of the page. When you go to the family page, you can scroll among all the family pictures without any Error.

I don't know if this problem is only in my computer, but it is a good idea to check it.

I'll try Smile

                                              "Error in page"

This is the "family pictures" part from the "individual" page. I put 8 picturs to that family, but when I tried to scroll among those pictures, after two pictures I got an error massage at bottom of the page, and I couldn't scroll anymore to the other pictures.

But....when I went to the "family page", I could scroll among all the 8 pictures without any error.

                                                    "DONE"

Can you include an attachment of the HTML file to your post. I will take a look at it on my machine.

By the way, have you tried to modify the HTML code to include the following

This will display the text from right-to-left. Eventually, GenoPro will have a checkbox in the report generator dialog to let the user pick the text direction.

Also - Here is direct links to those html files inside my website:

!!!! Not available anymore !!!!

edit 18.9.05- 12:57 pm

The bug was fixed after Dan found a solution to the problem (see: http://support.genopro.com/FindPost8464.aspx Wink , so I removed those links because they are not relevant anymore and they have changed according to dan's solution.

I get the JavaScript error Object Required running the picture slide show only in the page http://beraha.atspace.com/rivka/ind00024.htm.

What is strange is the code works on http://beraha.atspace.com/rivka/family.fam00008.htm.

I have extracted the code from http://beraha.atspace.com/rivka/ind00024.htm causing the error. When I compared this code with http://beraha.atspace.com/rivka/family.fam00008.htm, I found they are identical. I believe the problem lies in the following code:

Can you try removing the picture comment מכתב אהבה מאליעזר לסטלה and re-generate the report. Maybe the JavaScript engine does not like Unicode text. If this is the problem, I can fix this easily.

I have deleted all comments, and generated a shinked version of the tree using the original Skin

*** EDIT: NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE ***

Still, the same problem, as you can see by yourself. So - I'm not sure the problem is with the Unicode text. I'm ready to generate more tests with less information as you like in order to find the problem.

I tested page http://beraha3.atspace.com/test6/ind00001.htm and noticed the error occurs when a picture contains the & symbol. Can you try renaming the picture name, file name and description to remove any &. Html uses the & as a reserved character and it is possible the report generator is not encoding this character properly.

I believe all & are being HTML-encoded as & but it is possible some of those characters slipped.
