...but I can't get the custom_tag fields to stay hidden in table view when I modify the columns. Everything else stays the way I set it up, but the custom_tag fields keep coming back. I don't use them for anything, and I hide them every time I have the table view open, and every time I reopen the table window after closing it, the custom_tag fields are back. Hopefully this will be fixed in the
new version
; looking forward to trying it out.

It is somewhat of a bug. The
custom tags
have been hardcoded to be appended as the last columns in the
Table Layout
.
GenoProX
will serialize the column
info
(width, visible) using the identifier of the column rather than the index as in GenoPro 2016. This will enable the user (you) to hide a custom tag from the Table Layout.
