Thanks, solution worked a treat!

What determines the zoom level and positioning of Tree when it is published to the Web? I don't think it is identical to the settings when document last saved? Would like to zoom out a bit and position document other than centering it

Thanks

John

The default is to not scale the SVG genomap and just display one for one and so the viewable area depends on screen size and resolution. However there is a parameter setting under the Genomaps tab of configuration options to fit the genomap into the window.

Thanks

I installed IrfanView in the correct folder and I could see Thumbnails being uploaded. I used EN Narrative Report 2015.10.12. However, when I view the report on Web I do not see Thumbnails. I noticed they loaded into Thumbnail folder in the Root folder, so I tried manually loading one to the Thumbnails folder in the Report folder, but still no luck. Thoughts?

Difficult to say what is going wrong with your report without being able to see the results. Could you possibly publish a small non-sensitive subset to a different folder without password protection with some thumbnail example photos so that I can see it?  You say you do not see thumbnails, but do you see instead?

There have been no other reports of similar problems and I have just republished the HarryPotter sample (http://familytrees.genopro.com/genome/HarryPotter/default.htm) and thumbnails appear to be working as expected.

What I see instead of thumbnails is in attached. I tick box asking whether to upload Thumbnails - assume it should be ticked? (think I tried both ticked and unticked)

Uploaded a small sample to http://familytrees.genopro.com/turnbull/test/

Received error when trying to open Harry Potter link

Many thanks

John

I am unable to view your test report as a password is still required, presumably because test is a sub-folder of a protected folder.

However it could be that we have our wires crossed over the meaning of 'thumbnails' in a Narrative Report.  As your view of what you see is a genogram I am now assuming you are talking about GenoPro 2016's 'picture mode' where gender symbols are replaced by primary pictures. The Narrative Report does not support this feature.

'Thumbnails' in the Narrative Report refer to the smaller images placed on the narrative pages for individuals etc. and are used to improved the performance when viewing the report pages.  Clicking on such a thumbnail causes the full size photo (or slideshow if more than one photo)  to be displayed.

Thanks, yes I was confusing it with Picture Mode.

All works as you describe, thanks

I get the attached errors when uploading to the Web - I don't think there is any consequence? Are they easy to fix?

Regards

John

These errors have been reported here several times and appear to be spurious ones.

We are still waiting for GenoPro Support to provide an explanation for these errors or even provide a fix but sadly there has been no comment from GenoPro Support as yet.
