The ability to place pictures directly on the genomap would be great. (For instance, coats of arms or maps placed next to family groups).

I thought I might be able to do this already since there is a 'Pictures' tab in the text label properties menu, but sadly no picture appears. Any chance of seeing this in the future?

I second this request. Being able to overlay a picture of that person directly viewable on the genomap would be a killer feature! I am surprised it isn't a part of the current version of genopro. I hope this feature is at the top of new functionality to be added to the next release. Is there a timeline for the next release of genopro and the new features to be included?

The feature you are after has been suggested many times and so is probably on the to-do list. I would like it too.

In the meantime, it was discussed at Display photos in the genogram

Have a look at Ron's suggestion.

Currently I copy my geno map into publisher and then add photos, (Stamp size) onto the map.

The individuals are seperated at a predetermined distance so that the report looks balanced.

But it would be great if the team at Geno could incorporate this feature.

And maybe give this program a new name!!

I have just installed windows 8 and office 2013.

When I copy my Geno Map into Publisher2013, it goes all blury.  I have tried different options but all have the same effect.

Have you any ideas

Try turning off Subpixel Positioning and Hardware Acceleration

"Check under File>Options>Advanced>Display and check the box for 'Use subpixel positioning to smooth fonts on screen' and also try changing the setting for 'Disable hardware graphics acceleration'"

Source of the answer above is on the page I've linked to below
