When publishing tree to Geno Website the SVG view of tree is fine but PDF option, whilst loading the PDF frame all OK, only shows a blank page.
Any advice most welcome.

Sorry - Although I have the latest version (2.5.4.1) does that mean that I have to download a later version "skin" seperately? If so not sure how that is done!?

Yes you do have to install the updated skin separately. Unfortunately GenoPro Inc. does not update the GenoPro release often enough.  |

Could you post contents of the GenoPro 'Message Log' after report generated (see GenoPro menu bar View/Message Log) Copy and paste it into your post (click within GenoPro Message Log window, press Ctrl & A then Ctrl & C , switch to your forum post and paste into post by pressing Ctrl & V )

Yes Inkscape is installed and in default folder.
I note in the log below that it says at one point - "Base skin version from Config.xml:2011.02.04"
I have though downloaded the latest skin (2012.09.20) - placed it in a folder under GenoPro reports and ensured that the report generator is pointing at it.

Nearly there Mike but sorry, you are not using the correct skin. Your skins folder path is incorrrect, remove the last folder from the path i.e Narrative_2012.09.20\ leaving it as C:\Users\Mike\Documents\GenoPro Reports\Skins\
It needs to point to folder containing the skin folders, i.e. the parent folder of the skin folder not the skin folder itself. The skins folder can hold several different skins, each in its own folder. GenoPro is not finding any skin folders below your currently set folder, so it is only showing the built-in skins. When correct the new skin will show in the list as \Narrative_2012.09.12\* .........

Hi,
Thank you for your continued excellant support. Got the skin sorted now - confirmed by the fact that the webpage looks different and the log shows the latest skin.
Unfortunatley, whilst everything else, including the SVG diagram is perfect - the PDF is still coming up blank. (I have tried vewing the site with both Firefox and IE on more than one PC with the same results)..

OK. A bit of a blind alley but it is worthwhile having the latest skin anyway.
I do recall something similar to your issue with a very wide genogram. Some PDF readers, including Adobe cannot cope if the PDF is more than 200 inches wide. Is you genomap very wide? You could try the PDF reader built-in to the Google Chrome browser or perhaps the Foxit pdf Reader (my favourite). If all else fails try splitting or squashing the genogram.

Thank you once again for the "second to none" excellent support.
That's cracked it! - Foxit didn't seem to work, but installed Chrome and it reads the PDF fine! It is a very wide tree so that is obviously the reason.
