when I try to generate I get the following message.

Please note that 'the latest download from GenoPro' will not provide you with the latest Narrative Report skin.
If you do indeed have the latest report skin then the text '2013.08.28' will appear somewhere in the Report Log when you generate the report. If it does not then please read this post: How to install and use custom or updated skins and then follow the link given by appleshaw and download the attachment from there and install as per the instructions. If you still have problems then to assist diagnosis please copy the text from your Report Log and paste into your reply here.

I am unable to diagnose your problem with the information you have provided. I need know to which version of the Narrative Report skin you are using. You should be using the latest version of the skin obtained as previously stated.
As advised in my earlier post please provide a copy of the GenoPro Report Log showing the error. i.e. highlight the text in the Report Log section of the Generate Report window and then copy the highlighted text to the Windows clipboard by pressing Ctrl and C keys together ( or alternatively, with the cursor over the highlighted text, click the right mouse button and choose Copy). Then when replying to this post you can with the text cursor within your reply either press Ctrl and V keys together or right click and choose Paste to place the text copied into your reply.

It would appear that the Narrative Report skin you are attempting to use has missing files, i.e. one or more of the theme sample images and perhaps other items. I conclude that either an error occurred when the files were unzipped or that files within that skin have since been deleted accidentally.
You need to download the latest and unzipped the latest Narrative Report skin using the links provided in earlier posts in this thread.

Having now looked at the version history for the Narrative Report skin, it is possible that your problem is caused by an error in version 2013.07.30 corrected in version 2013.08.02
Version 2013.08.02- fix problem with 2013.07.30 when Skins path has spaces in it.
- expand the Homepage footnote to include folder and saved profile.
- republished 2013.08.03 to fix issue with picture gallery (pictures.htm)
You could move your skin to a path without spaces, but the best solution is still to use the latest skin.

It may be that I am rusty, as I haven't tried to upload to my web server for many months...!
However, I am receiving quite a few errors in trying to export via the Report Generator. Firstly, I have the latest skin: 2013-12-27. I then uninstalled and subsequently installed the latest versions of Inkscape and Irfanview, and placed the 2 programs in the Program Files folder and made sure that the paths under Thumbnails and Genomaps were correct. If you are publishing to the web the problem could be there. I had problems recently but first created a local version on my PC and then found the web version completed. At least you would check that a report can be written. If necessary use FTP to transfer it

I was able to successfully publish the report to my local computer drive. Unfortunately, when I subsequently tried to publish the report to the web from with GenoPro, I received the same error messages. However, I have taken your advice and am uploading the generated report from my local computer to the web via my FTP application - which is working fine. Thank you again.

I am also having a problem generating a report with this error message coming up.
Error at line 67 (default.htm): Invalid procedure call or argument: '[string: "(null)"]' Microsoft VBScript runtime error 800A0005 I have the most updated version. Not sure what to do next.

You don't have or are not using the latest version of the Narrative Report skin! What you should do next is read How to fix Error at line 67 (default.htm) VBScript 800A0005 in the Narrative Report
Search and you might find.
