I've downloaded the "Narrative_2014.12.17.zip" and installed the latest skin in the C:\Users\MCh\Documents\GenoPro Reports\Skins\ folder.
I configured GenoPro to use this folder by specifying it under the Options Tab of the Generate Report Dialog.
Still Microsoft VBScript runtime error 800A0005

read the installation instructions again. then again. If still problems look at some of the other posts. You are still running the original built-in report not the updated one!

I have never used the alternative skin location, so am guessing. You need to open the first tab of the Report Generator and then open the list of Report Skins. In addition to the bundled skins you should see the new one you have downloaded. It helps if you give this a distinctive name - the folder name in the GenoPro Report Skins folder. Choose this skin - the default skins do not work (as you have found out)

I have asked this many times but I will say again: I am very happy to take ANY suggestions on how the install instructions can be improved as many users such as yourself run into a problem with them.
I we can get them right there hopefully be no need to keep answering the same query over and over again.

(Translation for the non-Poles: G'day, Have you resolved the problem? It's not in the "Options" as per your photo, but in the "Report Generator" tab - the third drop down menu has to have "\Narrative_2014.12.17\* (Narrative Report) {...}" chosen. I hope this helps, I had the same issue a week or two ago. Greetings)
Jade.

I was first getting Error at line 67 than I downloaded Narrative files now I am getting Page not found. I am getting very frustrated with Genopro. Can someone please help me
|

The only reason I know of for 'page not found' is when you request a 'Book' style report under the Print options settings but publish to the web. A book style report should only be produced locally and is intended for subsequent conversion to PDF format.
If this is not your issue then please provide more information, e.g. which version of the Narrative Report are you running, does it run without error and what is the the page that is not found. A copy of the Report Log is sometimes useful.

This is the same problem that I have since I updated windows 7 with service pack (see see below). Le problem is presentonly if the “do not display the dialog to costumize the report parameters” flagis selected. For the moment so Isolved: I open the second tabof the Report Generator and then I clear “do not display the dialog to costumizethe report parameters” Now its OK. Now I look for thesolution with “display the dialog to costumize the report parameters” selected. Thanks

Also a revised version is about to be released so check that link again tomorrow.

I am trying to update and existing published file and I keep getting this error message "Error at line 67 (default.htm): Invalid procedure call or argument: '[string: "(null)"]' Microsoft VBScript runtime error 800A0005 "

So did you read the rest of this thread and the solutions offered therein? If not, do so, If you did, tell us why you could not implement the solution.

Well, I'm not a computer programmer. This program was supposed to be an easy way to publish a genealogy tree. All I see as solutions is something about re-righting the code for some new skin.

Well, you do not need to be a computer programmer. What is offered is an update to the existing Narrative Report template, or 'skin', that is built in to GenoPro. All that is required of you is to download the file and unzip it into the correct place using the instructions provided. If it does not work for you when you follow the instructions, let us know here what happens and we will try and offer further guidance.

I followed the instructions as best I could , the problem seems to be I can't update the current report. All it wants to do is make a new online report.

Have you downloaded the latest report skin dated 5 May 2015? If not go to:- http://support.genopro.com/Topic28332.aspx?
If you have this version and it still wants to create an online report then you need to change the Destination folder, using the adjacent Browse button
