I've restricted a report generator of mine, via CONTROL PANNEL / EDIT / PASSWORD PROTECTED, giving a specific password.

A special "password protected" mention started appearing, but when entering the site acc.to its address, I'm still asked for NO password Alien !?!

ASSUMPTION after deeper check:

In case of a few (leveled) report generators, such as .../Alfi/... , all but the other levels (than 1st) are ignored. The first one is - by chance - a public one, therefore all restrictions of the others are ignored. In same context, only 1st report generator of mine appears on each of your lists (e.g.: biggest, most photos, last updated, etc.)

Issue related to password not getting immediately in effect should be solved. Can you confirm whether or not this is working for your publications?

Web site with same password should not re-ask for the password again.

The root can be password-protected and leaving sub publication not password-protected.

In same context, only 1st report generator of mine appears on each of your lists (e.g.: biggest, most photos, last updated, etc.)

Password-protected reports and hidden reports are excluded from the directory and the statistics.  There is not limit on how many reports published by a user.

I've tried password protecting some of my GEDCOM files, but this never worked. All I got after I quit the software and started it up again was, well nothing, I went back to see if the file was password protected, and it didn't have anything, so I added a password, and closed it, started it up again, and the same thing happened. After this I trieed it maybe ten more times, but nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Oh, and I did save my changes before each closing.Unsure

You are mixing the online/web password-protected feature and the local file-based password-protected within GenoPro.

GenoPro cannot password-protect a gedcom file; however you can set a password to a .gno file.
