We need more information to help diagnose this problem. Please post a screen shot if the data is not private. Does it occur on all individuals or just a particular one? are you clicking the individual's name in the left hand 'table of contents frame' or elsewhere?. What does 'family is on screen' mean. Is it the family page in the detail frame or the SVG family tree?

I have had a further look, and although the problem always occurs on your site, it is not occuring locally. The problem is that when I go to "Click here for details of .......with ....." on an individual's page, the page loads properly, but as i pass the mouse over any hyperlink I get an error warning on the bottom left hand side saying 'Error on Page'. If I then try to access an individual from the Names list on the LHS frame, it does not repond. I need to access an individual on the page I am viewing and then return to the menu. I am using the latest 17C report generator, but it has occurred long before this version. I believe I may have a file that exists on the server from a version long ago that is affecting the report. Do old documents not in use by the current version automatically delete on a full re-installation of the report, if not I may have to delete the directory completely and upload a complete new file set.

poolzone (7/28/2006) I believe I may have a file that exists on the server from a version long ago that is affecting the report. Do old documents not in use by the current version automatically delete on a full re-installation of the report, if not I may have to delete the directory completely and upload a complete new file set.All the files remain there, however I doubt an unused file would cause such problem. Can you tell a bit more about your configuration, such as browser type & version and operating system. The scripting error in the report is probably a browser compatibility issue than some unused files.

My Computer software is as up to date as it can be. I am using XP Pro, Service Pack 2, Microsoft Explorer V6 sp2, maintained with automatic updates. The same thing happens on other sites from your directory. I have tried three others. It also occurs on my other computers. On my site if you go to BURNS, then to KERRY BURNS, then to KERRY with MARY MURDOCH then try to go to GIZMO BURNS directly. This is a sample of the error. It happens in all similar circumstances. I assume you have access to my site. The error also occurs on my FTP site. Please note that the current upload to your site has two minor changes that I do not believe have any effect. Anyway the other sites hosted have the same error.

There are indeed errors. When I try to access a family page, I get "Access Denied". I only get this error on only the web however. For instance, trying to open any family in Harry-Potter's family (http://familytrees.genopro.com/harry-potter/) produces this error. Also, when I click on the Mary hyperlink in the SVG, my browser opens another window and displays a script error. The browser should open the SVG of Mary in the same frame as Kerry. If you take a look at the sample genogram of Harry-Potter at http://familytrees.genopro.com/harry-potter/, you will notice the SVG nagivation is flawless and remains within the same frame.

Can you try generating using the built-in English Narrative Report skin? I generated a few reports and the index is sorted alphabetically...

Sorry, Yes both skins compile correctly locally. There must have been an error on transmission. I will regenerate and send the report later Today to see if it corrects the problem. Thanks
