I just installed b17d and it's OK now. From the PP, the clicked Ind is now coming up in the right pane.

Just to report this:

On the Home page, if you click on a place within the Most Popular Places list, the place comes up in the popup pane (PP). If you then click on an Individual within the Place References list, the PP closes and nothing else happens.
