Thanks Ronald for finding and fixing this bug. I'll ensure it is included in my next update to Dan, if Dan doesn't add it before then.

Poolzone has had access to my family tree, and has seen the thumbnails feature.

Now it's important to make sure that my fix is implemented in the main codeline.

rgds,

Ronald

My (updated part of the) site is completely password protected since I cannot prevent people to see the info that is not allowed to be seen with Genopro. (In the Netherlands even dead people are not supposed to be revealed unless they already dead for 50 years or more. I cannot enforce that with Genopro, hence the password protection.)

So I am afraid I can't help you.

rgds,

Ronald

I am sure you are right, however, I would like to look at a site already using it. Yours is not available.  My site takes 4 hours to upload so I hesitate to try it. I hope somebody is listing a site using the thumbnails

It's already available in the standard Genopro skin.

Make sure you

- create directories for the various sizes that you want to use

- change the settings in config.xml

The only thing I did was translate the skin and use it.

Ronald

I would very much like to see a report using skin that utilises thumbnails. Is there one available to view?

I enabled using thumbnails and found that for all thumbnails it was always using the 100x100 directory for the images. Even for the 250x250 (large) images, it was still taking the image from the 100x100 dir.

I quickly checked the code and saw a minor problem in utll.vbs (subroutine WriteHtmlPictures), which currently says:

WriteHtmlPicture p, cxWidthMax, cyHeightMax, cxyPadding, strAlign, g_cxPictureSizeSmall, g_cyPictureSizeSmall

but should refer to its the max size provided as parameters to it, in stead of hardcoding g_cxPictureSizeSmall, so the code should say:

WriteHtmlPicture p, cxWidthMax, cyHeightMax, cxyPadding, strAlign, cxWidthMax, cyHeightLimit

Can you please make the fix in the main code, so I do not have to fix this again in future versions of the skin?

rgds,

Ronald
