Thank you GenoProSupport

The new printing module is great for printing from GenoPro. It serves my purposes well.

However, what I was referring to above is printing from a generated report on a remote computer.

Thanks a lot.

I've had people asking me to print GenoMaps for them because they are unable to print from the SVG view or file. Some people even had trouble viewing the SVG pages because they have trouble downloading the viewer (older people). So, these people don't really know the size of the GenoMap.

This is what I've done. I placed an icon in the heading.htm next to the other icons. I create a *.pdf file the way I want it printed. I know the size of the GenoMap so I can specify the number of A4 pages to make the GenoMap look o/k. Then the *.pdf file is placed in the same folder as the other reported files. Now when someone wants to print the GenoMap they click on my icon and the PDF file is presented in a separate window. From here they do a simple print and they get a printout that I want them to have.

This lengthens the process of generating reports, but it does offer the option for others to print a GenoMap of the whole tree.

Maybe GenoPro could do something like this automaticaly from the Report Generator.

I know that this has been discussed in the forum before. This process is fairly simple and I thought I would suggest it. Maybe others think that this is too simple or insufficient.

Thanks
