You need to expand the details by clicking on .  Perhaps the Ancestor Pedigree Chart should be visible by default.

Not sure what you are asking here. If you want to show the ancestors of an individual within GenoPro then right click the individual and in the menu go to Select and from the sub-menu click on Direct Ancestors (Do not click Ancestor Tree as for some reason this will also select many descendants)

You can then move these to another GenoMap to see them more clearly. If you also want to add more family either press V in the new diagram, or add to the original selection before the move. To do this move the cursor over the selection; right click and then select Mate etc.

If you are talking about a text Pedigree chart then you will have to use another program such as PAF and export your gedcom, using the skin in the Report Generator.

Just to clarify, the Narrative Report generated from Beta 19g has a new feature on the Individual pages. An Ancestor Pedigree Chart is included for individuals with at least one parent.

Perhaps the Ancestor Pedigree Chart should be visible by default.

My vote is not to open anything by default.  Ron's Ancestor Pedigree Chart is excellent , giving us another way of viewing and importantly navigating through the tree, and gives users of other genealogical software more reason to abandon their use and adopt Genopro. But if always open it detracts from the rest of the page.

Ron, the Ancestor Pedigree Chart is excellent. Congratulations! Not being too familiar with the modules, I would appreciate if you could tell me which one I have to modify in my Customised Skin to include this feature.  I am going to Hungary in a few days and this would be a fantastic feature to show my relatives there.

Glad you like it! The Pedigree Chart is produced by a subroutine in the skin file Individual.htm. The subroutine name is WriteHtmlPedigreeChart which calls a couple of other functions in the same file, SetAncestor & PrintChartLine. The 'ChartMap' Repertory object is initialized in Init.vbs. WriteHtmlPedigreeChart is called from line 76 in Individual.htm. Hope this helps.

Thank you, Ron. You have saved me a lot of time.  My relatives in the Old Country will appreciate it.

The Ancestor Pedigree Chart is an excellent feature, but I am finding that the root male name is almost unreadable on my machine because of the lack of contrast between the text and the background colour (see below). Root female names are OK.

Is it possible to reverse the text colour on the root names to white (approximation below)?

Another suggestion would to use pastel colors (very light blue and very light red).
