It's OK with latest Firefox 1.5.0.9 but with MSIE 7, clicking on the picture name (L'hotel de ville) or on the slideshow icons has no effect when, apparently, a Place Notes and/or a Place Refs is/are present. The screenshot in question:

I have tested with both FireFox 2.0.0.1 and IE 7.0.5730.11 and I find clicking a place picture and using the slideshow controls work normally.

I've got the same IE version as you and on my machine, with the Google Map closed (as on my screenshot):1) when I hove over the pict, the pointer shows the arrow. I've got then to move up a bit the pict, the hand pointer appears and the pict opens in a new win. 2) when I hove over the pict name (l'hotel de ville) or over the 4 No. green icons (start slideshow, pause, previous and next pict) of the slide show, nothing happen (and the pointer doesn't change to a hand). For info, the slider of the slideshow icon moves OK. 3) when Google is open (below the pict but on the left of the pane), everything's OK. I removed the Place Note and the Source and everything is back OK. So I believe the problem is the cohab of the Note and/or the Source with the Pict or there's something wrong with my machine IE setting.

I concur. I find that I have a problem with a very few individuals, whose slide show does not function in the generated report. I cannot find any differences in the notes, etc, but there is some function which "skips" on the genereate for this individual...What's up with this? I tried deleting all pictures, re- generating, then adding pictures and re-generating again, with the same result. Is there a problem with some Names of photos?

Is it the slider to change the "timer" of the slideshow, or it is the slideshow itself?

The whole Control area does not function. But only in a select few instances. On the whole, the generator functions admirably, entering all of the correct data, functioning like I think it should, etc. I have not checked every member with multiple pictures, but one of the early additions to the tree fails in this instance. When I hover over the slide bar, the arrow just stays there, and does not change into that pointy-hand-like thingy.

I finally sat down and looked at the individual in question, and paid special attention to the sources information for her. I had used a source/citation incorrectly, and somehow confused the poor report generator.Interestingly, the two sources and citation had nothing to do with the picture, but the effect on the Report Generator was to nullify the operation of the slideshow. I deleted the offending comments, and the individual compiled correctly. I guess I really need to sit down to understand how Sources and Citations work. Anyway, if one runs into that again, it seems as though the Source might have something to do with it.
