Up until now we have been using a Beta version ie one being developed. That is a risk with Betaware, things might change.
GenoPro 2007 is a released product, so there will not be similar problems due to such changes. Stick with it; a lot of us think it is the best genealogical program and if you go to the release pages you will find information showing how much other programs need to do to catch up.

Is that going to be the case with all new GenoPro versions? Then I would already now switch to another program...

You should not copy the whole customised files but only the custumised codes and insert them in the appropriate places. ie you start from scratch like I did !

Thanks for a quick reply!
I created a new customized skin as suggested.
Then I copied the .htm and all other files from my custom skin into this new skin folder. Hurray! it is now recognized as a skin by GenoPro 2007.
However generating a report gives: Error at line 214 (home.htm) : Expected statement Microsoft VBScript compilation error 800A0400 #i.count
Line 214 is: @[#i.count]@
This "i.count" thing is not listed on the page you mentioned. How should I modify it?
Is it possible at all to adapt the old skin to the new GenoPro version? Or do I have to edit the new skin code from scratch?

I had the same problem and had to copy all my customised codes to the new skin.

Some hints:
1. there were hell lot amount of changes in the beta versions (including the tags, etc.) for the skins. Now the basic skin is built into Genopro, no longer visible as files. 2. create a new customised skins (Generate report|New skin). Then you will have a new skin under the skin directory. 3. Move you customisation into this newly generated skin. Not an easy job if heavily customised...
See this: http://support.genopro.com/Topic14743-60-1.aspx, to get info about tag changes. I also recommend to spend some time with http://www.genopro.com/sdk/ (check the report generator section)

Hi, I have invested a lot of work to customize my report skin. It was a big effort especially that I am not an html expert. Now after upgrading to GenoPro 2.00 the skin does not work It is not even recognized by the program What exactly do I have to modify to make it compatible with GenoPro 2.00? Thanks a lot in advance.
