How to turn Snap To Grid OFF

I'm just returning to GenoPro after a year's absence and can't figure out how to turn the Snap-To-Grid feature OFF. I've got a vertical line dropping down from a Cohabiting icon and I just cannot get the line centred in the icon - it's either to the left or the right! I've tried Ctrl G on and off but it makes no difference Sad

I think you need to select everything (Ctrl+A) and then press 'G'. This lines everything up so lines will be vertical

If you hold down the shift button whilst moving the object you will find this overrides the snap-to-grid function.
