The privacy filter still needs a few adjustments.

When person A is alive, they should not appear except by name and date, which is splendid.

But, when we display the marriages of A, or the list of pictures, A is still present on this page, unintentionally.

On the index of pictures, you get the pictures also of the living. Can you link the privacy info also to the pictured linked to an individual please?

Thanks,

Anna

Hm.. Seems I was using the wrong settings! If I still get too much information, I will let you know.

However: I'd like to have my "privacy-adapted" tree available on the web, but allowing an exception for people who consent to have their info published:

Can you make it possible for me to "unprotect" the privacy of choosen individuals? Some kind of an "allow info in report" button thar overrides the privacy settings, if that option is also clicked in the generator?
"Override privacy settings for flagged individuals" or something...

I'd appreciate it.

Until the privacy filter is re-written, this would be a matter of manually changing the Make Label/Exclude from report option on the Family Tab of the Individual Properties

Some of the early betas had privacy filters designed to be much more comprehensive than the current filter, and could potentially have achieved your desire. However, Dan removed them in beta 15c because they were not working properly (see: http://support.genopro.com/Topic9086-60-1.aspx), and by 15d the current filter was in place. You could download 15b to see what was intended.

As poolzone says, you can use the 'Make Label / Exclude from Report' option, but it is an all-or-nothing option; the individual will either appear with full details or not at all. If you want to try this, the quickest option for a number of individuals is to use the Table Layout - Individuals (ensure the column 'Is Label?' is showing).
