The default setting for the Privacy filter is on, which is the safe thing to do. I have two versions of my data on the familytrees site: a filtered version and password protected full version.

My mistake: I updated the filtered version but forgot to reset the filter..

I would find a warning message 'Privacy filter not set -Continue?' a useful safeguard. Any comments? - or should I just be more careful?
