What happened if you have hundreds of individuals? Display hundreds of lines?

Exactly. This is why I feel the default should remain as it is at present, and those users wanting a 'no wrap' version will need to set a configuration parameter to achieve it, either in Config.xml or via a Document Custom Tag. The 'nowrap' option would be useful for those who have organised their data into relatively small GenoMaps.

In that case I think we should get into sub-timeline charts like the sub-maps with hyperlinks!!!

The standard action of the MIT Simile Timeline 'widget' is to minimise the number of tracks used in the timeline by placing events in existing tracks whenever possible. Since the Timeline is implemented using javascript then yes it is possible to change their scripts so as not to wrap events in this way but to always start a new track for each event. This will of course result in a timeline as deep as the number of individuals and unions in the GenoMap that have dates associated with them and so would not be suitable in all cases.

I will look into this with a view to perhaps providing the Timeline 'nowrap' option.

Is it possible to only have 1 Ind per line (and to move the others below where they should be)? Thank you.
