It seams to me Slovenian (SLO) - ( I know that "slovenščina" is one of the terms in use) and Slovak (SK) - (don't know exact local name for language but preasume "slovenski" might be the right one) are wrongly listed...

And how come there are only two letter codes for countries/languages.  I preasume this is MS listing?

And there is matter of Serbian that comes in two versions (writings) latin (srpski) and cyrillic (српски) as legally equal...

This is my own listing and I am free to modify as necessary.  Just tell me what are the correct things.

Yes, I noticed that. I can change Serbian and replace by Serbian Latin and Serbian Cyrillic similar as I did for European Portuguese versus Brazillian Portuguese

I stumbled upon these listing of codes http://www.unc.edu/~rowlett/units/codes/country.htm

...yours serves fine as it is, for now, but if you'll need anything this is the place to look up!

Yes, I noticed that. I can change add both Serbian Latin and Serbian Cyrillic similar as I did for European Portuguese versus Brazillian Portuguese

This seаmс as nice idea: "SR-lat(in) srpski" and "SR-cyr(illic) српски"

...And I would add BiH (or BH or BS) Bosnia and Herzegovina; language is Bosniak - bosanski... it is disputed as language but I believe someone in near future might try to translate dialogues to it, and couldn't find it in listings...

BTW, are you sure every dialogue is available for translation? I can't find undo/redo and first line of GenoPro registration dialogue?!

So I should add the following:

sr-Cyrl-BA = Serbian (Cyrillic) (Bosnia and Herzegovina),  српски (Босна и Херцеговина)
sr-Cyrl-SP = Serbian (Cyrillic, Serbia and Montenegro), српски (Србија и Црна Гора)
sr-Latn-BA = Serbian (Latin) (Bosnia and Herzegovina), srpski (Bosna i Hercegovina)
sr-Latn-SP = Serbian (Latin, Serbia and Montenegro), srpski (Srbija i Crna Gora)

Many dialogs and menu items are still missing. The undo/redo was added to http://www.genopro.com/download/InstallGenoPro.2.0.0.6c.exe.  Some menu items are a bit more complex because they involve text formatting.

sr-Latn-SP = Serbian (Latin, Serbia; Montenegro), srpski (Srbija; Crna Gora)

Serbia and Montenegro split since... and maybe the order should be alphabetically - Crna Gora before Srbija but in cyrillic Азбука (Alphabet) "Србија" goes before "Црна Гора"

And since BiH is for some time independent as well

bs-Cyrl-BS = Bosnian (Cyrillic) (Bosnia and Herzegovina),  босански (Босна и Херцеговина)
bs-Latn-BS = Bosnian (Latin) (Bosnia and Herzegovina), bosanski (Bosna i Hercegovina)

...is the language that is used as compromise...

For BiH, SER and MTN (Montenegro) - would there be some option to open/edit language file as txt... I have a MSWord tool that makes cyrillic/latin transcription/transliteration within seconds...

BTW - Your way of translation tool is by far the simplest I've seen, will Report Generator have something like this...

You can indeed.  Just open the file C:\Program Files\GenoPro\Lang\SR.xml and you can edit it.  We don't recommend this approach because many people don't know how to edit XML and there is the encoding issue.  You should use UTF-8 when you save your .xml file.  GenoPro will detect you manually edited the language pack and will send a special command when updating (uploading) it on the server GenoPro.com.  Manual editing can only be done to add new entries and you cannot manually modify existing translated text using your favorite text editor.  This is a safety measure to avoid data loss in a multi-user collaboration system.  On the other hand, if you are the only one making modifications to the XML file, you are welcome to send it to me as an email attachment.  I can bypass this safety feature and do the update directly on the server.

Thank you.  Yes, we plan something like this for the report generator, including testing of narrative phrases.  Translating the report generator will be much harder than translating the graphical user interface (menus, dialogs, enumerations, tags, and error messages) of GenoPro.

I made an update with new languages at http://www.genopro.com/download/InstallGenoPro.2.0.0.6d.exe.  You should be able to pick any of the following Serbian language:

PS: I am using the standard language codes SR-Cyrl-BA, SR-Cyrl-SP, SR-Latn-BA and SR-Latn-SP.  If we need different language codes, it is possible to create our own, however it is problematic because we have to do internal mapping.
