I'm nearing the end of my two week trial of genopro. One issue I still haven't figured out is how to get better
gedcom export
so that I don't have to redo so much data. Is there a way to improve things? Or do I ahve to realize that at least once I am going to have to manaully redo data?

The best way to export to Gedcom is to use the 'Export to Gedcom' skin from the
Generate Report
option
in the
Tools
menu - see below.
