Sometimes we are thinking that a part of the translation is ready, but you the GenoPro team added news terms. We can not know that except if we are going thru every section.... : : I think that will be usefully if you can mark with different color the parts that are not ready (or with the number of elements not translated yet)

Yes, there is a plan to display/report all texts not translated for a particular language. Stay tuned with the incoming patches.

It can be usefully if we can unload all the text of one language on an file....Then we can read if all is OK and what kind of translation we done with diferents terms (sometimes I found translated GenoMap like GenoMapa, GenoMapas, Genomap, GenoMap, or Bookmark like Marcador, anotador, punto....)

In fact you can, open the XML file in the lang folder. Typically "C:\Program Files\GenoPro\lang"Those file can be edited with notepad, we do not recommend users to edit them manually because you can corrupt the file if the XML becomes invalid or if the file is not saved as UTF-8 encoding. Once your file is modified, you can send it to us by this forum. We will merge them manually. Using the interface is faster because all modifications get merged automatically. We do receive dozens of modification every day.

Hi Jordi, I agree with you that it could be very useful, but this kind of revision can introduce new issues to translation, p.e. the new button, it's ok translated to "nuevo" if it's referred to a file, but it doesn't applies to new in the picture dialog..."Nueva"... or in plural and singular phrases... We should make it carefully Regards, Hugo

JcMorin (8/6/2007) Yes, there is a plan to display/report all texts not translated for a particular language. Stay tunes with the incoming patches.Hi, I think that it could also be useful to have a way to mark the revised sentences and if a translation is Ok for many translators, then it can be globally marked as good. Regards, Hugo

JcMorin (8/8/2007) In fact you can, open the XML file in the lang folder.I know that... but is not what I need. Let me explain a little more my problem. I have two mother languages, spain and catalan. on the first we use the "y" (and) but in catalan we use "i" the verbs in pat in spanish ended with "...aba" and in catalan "...ava", etc... There are a lot of words that I put usually wrong, and I use the "spell" correction.... With the xml file I can't do that... The other question is to look for all the instances of one word (p.e: GenoMap) and with the XML it's a little more difficult.
