Copy & Paste Table into Table Layout

What about copying a table with data from either MS Word or MS Excel and paste it into the Table Layout. And after pasting the table, you could modify, organize, or classify the columns to be in the, say, First Name, Middle Name, Date of Birth columns, etc.. So that in the end, the data in the original table is already a "Data Genogram".
