Suppressing only year of birth for live individuals

Author Some people like to suppress their age but not their birthday...

Many people (specially females) may not wish their ages to be known in reports published on the Genopro website, although for the sake of accuracy the full date has been entered in the program.   There is an option to suppress the date of birth before publication of the report on the website -- but that suppresses the entire date.   An option that is needed here is to suppress only the year of birth of live individuals but not the day and the month (the birthday).   Can anyone help with this?

The only option currently is to exclude this person from the report (select on Family tab for individual).   There are 'work arounds' but all require re-editing at a later date to fix what is a temperary reporting requirement.  Many people have objections to their inclusion for many different reasons, you cannot write a selective display option for all.

Eventually we want GenoPro to have a privacy filter allowing the user to include or exclude specific data, such as a particular date, comment, source/citation or object such as a picture.  Everyone has different needs.  In your case, you want to exclude data (year of birth) for females.

I cannot give you an estimate when this feature will be available.  We have many features on our "todo" list which is always growing.   We are still working on our collaboration module which we should have something available March or April.
