Hello,

I have Gpro 2007 version 2.0.1.0

When you update could you change the contacts.

I have been using the contact tab to document past residences of my ancestors.  Right now contacts don't appear in the web-report for even for deceased individuals.  I would love for them to show on the report, with privacy settings to remove living individuals.  also on the timeline view show when the person lived in each location.

Just a thought,  can't wait for the new version to see what you guys and gals come up with.

Thankyou, I just downloaded the newest update, However The resulting report was the same.

You still have to select either to exclude all contacts or leave them in.  I just want to show addresses of deceased individuals.

Keep up the good work.     Smile    Heather

Heather
Not sure what you have done but look at my ancestor at
http://familytrees.genopro.com/appleshaw/Beaven-Evans/Beaven-Job-ind1958632001.htm
This shows a range of places he lived in, taken from the Contacts tab of his GenoPro data.
Is that what you are trying to get - or is it something else?

You also mention privacy. This report does not contain information about living individuals as I used the option in the Report Generator to exclude them. I have a password protected version for family use.

Happy Easter

Dear appleshaw,

Yes that is what i'm looking to do, list locations where my ancestors once lived.   Smile

So you created two different sites?  One with living people and one with out?   Unsure

I have one file on my PC and two versions of it on the GenoPro web space. Having loaded the full version I then edited it to make it password protected. In the other file I used the Privacy option of the Report Generator to exclude living people.

Have you sorted the list of contacts yet? You can use the same address for several people ie you do not have to add details each time. Note Ron's recent comment that you need to edit this sort of information from the Table layout, although I have not yet noticed problems myself yet
