Author	I'm trying to get my family tree printed by some one on a plotter, but no one seems able to accept the .gno format.

The best way is to copy the file GenoPro.exe on a USB key and run it directly from the key. GenoPro is the best application to print .gno files.

First download and install a freeware PDF 'printer' that will generate a PDF file when you 'print' from GenoPro. I recommend PrimoPDF over CutePDF as it produces a sharper image. 2. Once installed you then use GenoPro's File/Print Setup to set the printer as 'PrimoPDF' and choose the paper size you wish to print on the plotter (e.g. A1, A0 etc) and its orientation. 3. Then use GenoPro's View/Preview Print Area menu option. This shows how your genogram will fit on the selected paper size. Keeping this view, chose File/Page Setup and change the scale so that the genogram just fits the blue page area. Horizontal and vertical pages should normally be set to 1 unless you have a very large genogram. 4. The you can use GenoPro's File/Print to 'print' the genogram. PrimoPDF will prompt for a filename and save the PDF in that file. 5. Repeat 2-4 for each genogram you want to print. 6. Then take this/these file(s) down to your print shop (or use an online print shop). 'lego audio video erro ergo disco' or "I read, I listen, I watch, I make mistakes, therefore I learn"
