Hi,

I'm new translator of GenoPro from Poland. Now I'm creating the newest version of Polish Narrative Report Skin working with GenoPro 2.0.1.6.

But it's a small problem Smile

Is it possible to include some small corrections into the Report Generator?

I meant only the small thing (creating feminine forms in Slavonic languages).

Now it is e.g.:

And the feminine form of it:

It will be much better for us, when it will be e.g.:

The whole difference is that if there will be the newer version of GenoPro we could change only parameter, not the whole entry. It will be very satisfactory solution for all translators of GenoPro from the Slavonic languages, as well Polish.

And another question: when will we enjoy GenoPro 2.0.1.7.?

Greetings and hope it will be included in the newer version.
Please write mi if possible.

There are two problems with making the change you propose for what as you say is a minor issue.

Firstly the interfaces in the GenoPro Report Generator SDK used to access the Dictionary entries do not allow direct reference to attribute values, only to element names. I have written my own routines using MS XML DOM interfaces and XPATH queries to work around this is some cases but the effort to change all instances would not be worthwhile in my opinion.

Secondly such a change would invalidate the valuable work already put in my many others in producing other language translations.

The changes only need to be performed once, and not for each version of GenoPro and the Narrative Report skin. Also the keystrokes involved in copying and pasting a line in the Dictionary and making minor changes seem to me to be equivalent or even less than copying an attribute and applying the changes.

As for GenoPro 2.0.1.7, I do not know if GenoPro Inc. has any immediate changes planned.  However it would be good if my latest Narrative Report skin, 2.0.1.7RC9, could be included in the product. I'll wait a week or so to allow users to test it out before requesting that it be included. Please let us know if it works with your Polish translation.
