Can I

to someone who does not have GenoPro. Do they also need to
buy GenoPro
Glod to read our
Family Tree

If I can , how do I do it?
If I can not why not?
Thank you Larry

You can put the GenoPro.exe file on a Cd together with your .gno files and also any
images
that you have. The user will be able to use GenoPro as a viewer but not add to the file. For that you use a license.
If you write to a CdRW you can check that the disc works and change it if necessary. If you want to
help
the user you could add an autorun file. This has to be named autorun.inf and will include the following text
[autorun]
open=genopro.exe yourfile.gno
icon=genopro.ico
I am not certain if you need the icon file on the disc but I have seen notes saying it is needed. You can also add the name of the file you want to start with, as shown in the example above

The file GenoPro.exe (typically located in the folder C:\Program Files\GenoPro\) may run without any
installation
. The other alternative is to
download
the file
http://www.GenoPro.com/InstallGenoPro.exe
and burn (copy) it on a CD or DVD. The installation of GenoPro is quick and easy: only a few mouse clicks and everything is there, including the sample files and an un-install entry in the Control Panel.
