Hi , hope someone can help me i purchased GenoPro in 2005 and now i have a new P.C but wheni try to open my gedcom files (family tree`s saved to files), i get a message saying my p.c. does not recognise the file and i can`t open them now. I still have the original email with the registration key on it, please could someone tell me if this can be rectified. Many thanks Rob.

According to this forum you are now using the original v.1 of GenoPro. Suggest you download the current version 2.0.1.6 from the links on this forum. This should sort you out

It is not clear whether you are trying to open gedcom (.ged) files or GenoPro (.gno) files. GenoPro will not open gedcom files directly - they must be imported via the File>Import Files... menu
