Currently it seems that one can only select one or all GenoMaps in a GenoGram.  A sub-selection is not possible.  E.g., if I have a GenoGram called ABC.gno containing 26 GenoMaps called "A", "B" .. "Z" then it is rather difficult to only select, let's say, GenoMaps "N" and "S".  I recently had to provide a single GedCom file with the contents of two - hyperlink dependent - GenoMaps, and it was not easy to do.

Awaiting the possibilty to select more than one GenoMap, I found two ways to do this.

(1) The GenoGram copy

> Make a copy of the ABC.gno database, preferably under a different name.
> Delete all GenoMaps that are not needed/wanted in the report.  This is a rather lengthy process where you have to process each GenoMap individually by making a right-click select, choosing delete and confirming its deletion for each of the GenoMaps that must be removed.  Note that a table-view on the GenoMaps, allowing multiple selection and delete would also be welcome as a quick solution.

(2) The GenoMap copy

> Create a new, empty GenoGram database.
> Select the contents of the GenoMaps you wish to copy.
> Copy the contents and paste it into the empty GenoMaps in the new GenoGram.
> Re-establish the hyperlinks else you will introduce duplicates.

With both methods you end up with a sub-set that you can process as a whole with the Report Generator.  Of course, any modification to the base version will have to be replicated to the sub-set or a new sub-set will have to be created.  Making it possible to select two or more GenoMaps for a single report would make life easier.

Thanks,
Nand
