Author Why do source titles have to be unique?

Why do the sources have to be unique? I often use the same source to different persons. It could be a book with different chapters etc. When I write the title in the "source title / source name" it comes up at says that I have to find another name. Can this be true??

This is because sources are displayed by name.  If two sources have the same name, then GenoPro will not know which source you are referring to.  By requiring all sources to have a different (unique) name, then the a source may be identified by its name.
