Is there a way to tell the reporter to deny all indivuals that are from a year to be added in a gedcom/html - file(s)? Like i don't wanna show all persons that are born after 1920, because of the privacy rights. Please don't ask me to program it myself cause i wouldn't understand how to do that. I'd like a spot to say from what year it shouldn't add them.

example: I got my nephews in my genopro, with pictures and all, but due to privacy rights i'm not allowed to show them. I could ofcourse say that in their menu but i got like 7780 persons in total in my gedmap so that would be too much work.

Archives in the Netherlands don't put anyone online from after 1920 so that's not a problem (wouldn't be able to find them anyway), privacy rights u knowTongue:
but because i have all my family in my genomap, it would be usefull if i could turn those off in one go.

This may depend on which version you are using but with the version I have (2.0.1.6) the Report Generator has a Privacy option, a tab on the main menu. You can exclude all living people.

Living is defined as not recorded as dead - logical but could exclude ancestors if not marked as such ie date of death not known. If so, you can select a large group on the display and use key 'X' to mark them

Still that would mean i have to look at about 5000 indiviuals since i only X the them if i find their death certificate or a record with the date of their death. (Yes it means i got persons over 300 years old) but i don't mean them.

I mean those living right now. So from living/born after 1920, those i want to exclude in one go. I am always up to date on the Genopro- programm, and if it's in the reporter just tell me where i can do that. If not then it's a suggestion to make an "exclude from date"- option

I agree it is useful to leave individuals unmarked as dead if you do not have the information. I used to do this as it pointed out where more work was needed.

If you want to mark temporarily as dead for exclusion from the report you can use the table layout. Sort by birth date and then select those you want to exclude. If you move to the display these will be selected and press X to mark them. Unfortunately this only applies to the current visible GenoMap so the process has to be repeated for each of them. Then check the table to make sure none is missed.

As always there may be a better way!
