As noted elsewhere, I use GenoPro for fictional genealogies as well as my own family, and I have stumbled on a minor problem with regard to calendars and year counting. If I try to enter a negative year, it strips out the negative sign and (if it is only two digits) adds "19" to the beginning. This is unacceptable for the intended application; the calendar I am working with has a "Year Zero" and negative years (corresponding to BCE in our calendar). I would LOVE to see GenoPro support negative years, with a checkbox option for "Include Year Zero in calculations" along with the "Starting Year" option in the Options dialog box.

Even with this imperfection, GenoPro is still by far the best value for capabilities and price anywhere in genealogy software, primarily (for me) because it lets me look at, edit, and print the entire family tree at once; most programs won't let you view anything more than ancestor or descendant charts focused on a single individual. w00t
