I can see that GenoPro can be installed over the network through command line scripts.
We are buying a site license soon and wondering if the GenoPro has a DATABASE that needs to be stored at a Centralized location for all the staff to share if they create any GenoPro based work? OR
Is it completely a separate install on all the computers and they share their work by sharing their files by normal transfer to another Computers or Users who have GenoPro installed?
Please advise.

I am not sure to fully understand your question. You may install GenoPro also on the server and create a shortcut/link to GenoPro.exe, however for performance reasons, we recommend to install GenoPro on all clients. This way, if the network is down, the users may still use GenoPro. Transferring the .gno files over the network is rather quick, as a family tree or genogram is typically less than 100 KB.
We do however have an API to load and store files to a database. The full source code is available at http://www.genopro.com/sdk/External-Storage/. In addition, we are working on a true collaboration module where you may create a project and invite others to join. By default, a collaboration project is created on our server GenoPro.com, however it may be created to a private server. We are still working on this collaboration module to tweak minor things, such as synchronizing the exchange of pictures between clients. You are welcome to try our collaboration module at http://www.genopro.com/monica/ Edited: Thursday, July 15, 2010 by GenoProSupport
