I installed Genopro 2011 last night (2.5.3.2) and have run into an issue. Often, after opening an individual and later clicking "Ok", the display of that individual is messed up, by dropping part of the displayed name. When I reopen that individual, it displays a completely different person from the tree.
The problem is not consistent, but with certain individuals is reproducible. I have tried doing "save as" to see if the changes are permanent, but Genopro hangs on the "save as" command. Have other folks run into this issue? Any known workarounds? Thanks in advance for the help.

Can you please post a screenshot? If I can see the problem and/or reproduce the bug on my machine, I am confident I can fix it.
By the way, can you please upgrade to GenoPro 2.5.3.3 (I made an update a few hours ago to address the problem of printing images. This bug may be related because older version of GenoPro were using the video memory to load images).

I will post a screenshot if necessary, but I now have a hypothesis which may be more helpful.
I have many large images in my database that Genopro 2007 couldn't display, because of file size limitations. I received the standard "out of memory" message, and the image wouldn't display. I have never spent the time to generate smaller, lower resolution versions. The garbled individuals seemed to correspond to individuals who had some of the large images. I renamed the path where those large images are located, so Genopro 2011 can't even find those files. After making this change, I can't reproduce my previous problem. How does Genopro 2011 handle very large images? Do other folks have large images in Genopro 2011 that can't display as a picture, but do not lead to other errors? Thanks. [Update - the upgrade to the newest 2011 revision has solved the problem. Thank you.]

Well, the last update I made a few hours ago should help. As I explained in my post Some pictures are not printed, GenoPro was storing the images on the graphic card. On most computer, the graphic card has much less memory than on the main memory. For instance, a 10 megapixel requires typically 40 MB of memory on the video card, and a dozen of those pictures can fill in a 0.5 GB video memory.
I still need to write the code to shrink large pictures to improve the performance of displaying large pictures on a family tree. Keep us posted if you have any problems. We are there to make GenoPro a better product.

When opening a picture within an individual, Genopro 2011 can't enlarged it as it was in Genopro 2007.
