I'm sure this has been asked somewhere else, I just can't find it:
how do I make an "accent aigu" or "accent grave"? (Accent over a letter, either coming upper right to lower left, or upper left to lower right)? Thanks!!

Alt+130 will give you é, and Alt+138 will give è. For a full list see this site.

I should have specified:
I'm on a Mac, using Genopro via Parallels Desktop. In this setup, Genopro doesn't seem to recognize either the Mac keyboard command ( Option+e) or the command that you suggested (Alt+130), which I assume is the Windows keyboard command. Any ideas?

thanks, but:
I think Parallels is getting in the way. I can't make any of the accent codes work for any of characters or symbols.
