I have a familytree.gno file generated with GenoPro Gold, in 2004. I cant read it in GenoPro 2011. Is there a way to read it?
When I try to read it, the program give me a message "Unable to find file 'Data.xml' from storage"

Regards...

Just upgrade to GenoPro 2011.  You get a free upgrade and GenoPro 2011 can read files generated by previous versions of GenoPro.

Is there not a version of GenoPro that will read files in the pre 'data.xml' format and then save them in 'data.xml' format? Does version 1.99c do this?

Are you sure this file date from 2004? Because the error mesage suggest your file a zipped xml file without the data.xml file.

Prior to GenoPro 2007 (and most beta) the file format was binary and yes GenoPro 2011 can open binary file from version 1.99.

Feel free to send me the .gno file to service at genopro dot com and I will investigate the issue, and upgrade the .gno file to GenoPro 2011.
