Hi,
I would
find
it useful if there was a tab in the “
Individual
” screen, similar to “
Education
” and “
Occupation
”
specialised for “Military and war records”. It would have a dedicated data entry screen generating line items such as regiment,
location
, rank,
citations
, prisoner, dates, etc. which would expand in collapsible tabs in the
Narrative Report
similar to Education and Occupation.
Currently, the only possibilities I found was to either use the Occupation tab, but it is not ideal, or tell the whole story in the “Comments” box of the individual. As most of our male ancestors in Europe and also elsewhere went at least through 3 major conflicts over the last 150
years
, in addition to compulsory military duty of sometimes several years, I feel this could be a more general request. In the meantime, I would be interested to know how this data is handled by other GenoPro users.
Best regards
Roland
