I downloaded a free trial, but between restoring the OS to the machine to which I downloaded the program, and earning a living, never used it before my temporary key expired. Do I still have the option to download another trial copy? More importantly, 1)must I use only this forum to communicate with technical support (I see NOTHING to indicate I can navigate it utilizing keyboard shortcuts, so I would prefer to be able to use my own e-mail client) and 2)does the program itself also lack keyboard options? (I not only first began working with computers in the days of MS DOS 5, when keyboard shortcuts were the ONLY option for navigating menus in software programs, but also have a typing speed of 85 word per minute, so prefer using keyboard shortcuts instead of a mouse). If navigating the program is likely to prove as "painful" as trying to navigate this forum, I probably should look elsewhere for a genealogy program.

Can not comment on trial.
Use of keyboard is well supported: eg key W to add new male; Enter to open properties menu and Tab to move between fields. I had not noticed before, but field names have an underlined letter so that you can use an Alt key combination to jump into a field box
However a lot of the facilities are normally selected by use of mouse, at least in my experience. Perhaps a good typist, which I am not, would find other keyboard features. The main data store, behind the screen display, is opened Ctrl-T (table) and can be edited and moved using arrow or tab keys. Each to his own

When the trial is over you can still use it and be locked to 25 individuals max per document. If you want more time to try it use this key for another 2 weeks: 69R-AVR-ALD-LD8-TMP

In GenoPro most action are bounded to shocut key. If you put your mouse over an icon, the tool-tip will display you the shortcut key in parenthesis. They are currently not configurable.

Where can I get tech support before purchasing this software because I need to know that help is nearbye or it will be of no use to me.

How much is this software? I have been away and not able to use most of the first free trial  and would like to request another one.

What do you think would be helpful for me to know about this software?  I have the very basic of computer skills. How sophisticated is this?

This forum is a god place to ask questions if you have problems using the software, even before you buy it.
At the head of this forum is a link to Buy, which shows a single licence is $49. This includes access to the GenoPro server to publish reports, which can be public, prvate or password protected. It also provides a secure backup of your data. Useful when your hard disc crashes (it will do so) or you use a different PC
