I have a web site that need to use GenoPro. Users want to watch
family tree
graphs in web and still can
download
the files to edit. And they want to minimize the steps when they use it. I guess that
xml file
is a way to show in the web site and exchange it between each user.
So now I need to read xml file and present it as a graph in my web site programs.
Is there an API or something that I can use to convert xml file(gno file) to graph?

GenoPro has two methods:
SavePictureOfGenoMap
and
CopyPictureOfGenoMapToClipboard
.
In a nutshell, you create an empty GenoPro document (
New GenoPro.Document
, load the XML using the method
SetTextXML
which GenoPro will draw the family tree, and then extract the family tree
image
using either
SavePictureOfGenoMap
and
CopyPictureOfGenoMapToClipboard
. The image will be stored in a metafile format, so you may render it to a PNG. Save the PNG on disk and use it for the web.
