I am a junior user of GenoPro 2011 V2.5.3.9. Base skin version from Config.xml:2011.02.04.
I discovered recently the 'Move to GenoMap' functionality to better organize different family trees. Works fine, but since I have started organizing families in different GenoMaps certain Hyperlinked spouses loose some or all of their children in the generated Report. (I'm using English Narrative Report.)
Please advise?

Can you send a sample .gno file about the problem. You may use the Send File dialog and sent to GenoPro. |

Luc G. A. Verschueren (17-Sep-2011)orks fine, but since I have started organizing families in different GenoMaps certain Hyperlinked spouses loose some or all of their children in the generated Report
Are you aware that the Report can be generated for either the whole .gno file or for just a single genomap? Also living individuals can be excluded from the report. If you have set this option then living children of dead parents may be appear to be 'missing'

I have been working to integrate a debugger to the report generator. I am almost done, this way, the developer may set a breakpoint and step into the code.

Sorry for the delay. The integration of a debugger took a bit longer... and I had to deal with an urgent situation...

I am happy to take a look into this issue as well. Please send your .gno via the File Send... dialog to me genome and also supply details of the settings you have under the Privacy tab of the Generate Report dialog.

I just uploaded "StamboomLuc_Marina.gno". As far as the Privacy options are concerned in Generate Report, only the 'Remove Stray Objects' is set to TRUE.

OK I have your .gno.
However I wonder whether or not there has been some misunderstanding here. Your post title is Error with "Export to GEDCOM via the Report Generator' yet you speak of the " English Narrative Report" Genopro can generate a nuimber of different reports, as listed in the drop down list 'Report Skin' on the generate report dialog. If you chose the 'Export to Gedcom' report from that list it will generate a text file in a compatible Gedcom format suitable for import into other packages. However if you select 'English Narrative Report' it generates many HTML pages that can be published to the Internet as a 'Web' report. This report can optionally include a 'Gedcom' file if the no Ged file option is no checked under the 'Privacy' tab of the Generate Report dialog. But unfortunately this file is in GenoPro's internal non-standard 'Gedcom'-like format that is suitable for nothing other than re-importing into GenoPro. (As produced by using File/Export/Export to Gedccom). I know this is confusing for a relatively new user and in my opinion should be removed. There is further confusion if you use GenoPro's File/Export/Export to Gedcom via the Report Generator' which I suspect you did. This simply launches the Report Generator dialog and the Report Skin is defaulted to the last one used. You must then choose 'Export to Gedcom' from the list of reports to generate a file that adhers to the Gedcom standard. Sorry for any confusion, lets hope GenPro can sort this out so that others are not led astray. If I am wroing in my assumptions as to how you arrived at your Gedom file, please advise as to which hyperlinked spouses become childless.
