Set up the first part of the family and then add a new family line. Alter this to show marriage and edit.
Then join the parents to this line. Look like this

Hi

How can I draw a long term commitment which produced children and eventually ended up 20 years later with a wedding (probably when the former wife died) and no more children?

Thank you for your help. Kind regards

Roland
